Women’s Upliftment Programme (Upcoming Initiative)

Empowering Those Who Hold Up Half the Sky

Women in rural Punjab face limited access to education, health, and economic opportunity — despite
playing a vital role in family and community life. Investing in their growth creates ripple effects across
generations.

The objective of this programme is to support adolescent girls and women with resources, training, and support systems that foster self-confidence, health, and financial independence.

Key Components (in planning):

  • Menstrual hygiene education and pad distribution
  • Nutrition and preventive health education
  • Skill-building for income generation (sewing, food processing, etc.)
  • Leadership workshops and adolescent girls’ clubs
  • Community dialogues to challenge stigma and promote women’s rights

Impact Goal:

Pilot the programme in 10 villages, reaching 100 women and girls in Year 1, with plans to scale up
based on response and resources.
